Lowther Castle indeed ! In fact even as I dashed it off I knew it had the ring of inaccuracy about it;though I had completely forgotten the electric brae business . Were you there to witness the papillon / bird of prey incident as I had a lapse over what type of bird it was too ? We used to have a papillon which was once almost picked off by a ferocious carnivore on wings at Lowther Castle in the Lakes . I guess Big Skinny Alice could probably take care of herself in that dept and now that Ive had NET in New Jersey ( hark at the name dropping) Im not even scared of MsCatMinderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07305103159809002521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3807592382240803571.post-68735591520952600442008-04-20T15:54:00.000+01:002008-04-20T15:54:00.000+01:00Here's alink to Loudoun castle.http://ws2.secureac...Here's alink to Loudoun castle.

http://ws2.secureaccount.net/Bespoke/Loudoun/history.jsp

I think every American wants to get a call that "the 12th Earl of ---has died and you are the only living heir..." I remember Largs where we stayed and some castles but not the one you mention . Culzean castle springs to mind and a hill where you felt like you were going downhill but the gradient was up , or vice versa ??? We were in Britain a few years back and stumbled upon a Loudoun castle in Galson,Ayrshire. Pretty humorous, a lovely ruin, but they have a kiddie's amusement park on the grounds.Silliyakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12357513229346986960noreply@blogger.com
